Conference Hotels
Three hotels have been contracted to provide preferred rates for the InterPore meeting. The hotels are located across the street from the convention center in the Arts and Warehouse District, and were selected to provide good accessibility to the meeting location as well as good value.
Please book your stay at these hotels if possible, as InterPore has entered into contracts with significant room commitments in order to ensure that attendees receive good rates even if the local demand and prices spike during the week of the conference.
Hampton Inn and Suites Convention Center
The Hampton Inn is a beautifully restored property in a landmark building in the Warehouse District. It is directly across the street from the part of the Convention Center where the InterPore conference will be held, and is the only one of the conference hotels for which breakfast is included in the price. A limited number of suites are available at a slightly higher rate in addition to the rooms listed below. (The difference in price for single and double occupancy is for the included breakfast.)

New Orleans Downtown Marriott at the Convention Center
The Marriott at the Convention Center is a full service luxury hotel in a renovated 19th century cotton mill. It is directly across from the Convention Center, but on the opposite end from where the conference sessions will be held. This walk can be made inside the convention center in case of inclement weather.

Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse District Hotel (Marriott)
The Renaissance Arts Hotel requires a four-block walk to and from the Convention Center, but it is in heart of the Arts and Warehouse district. The location provides a chance to immerse yourself in one of the most interesting areas in New Orleans and to experience something different in the hotel itself.

Discounted Rates for Students:
To help travel budgets and to encourage use of the conference hotels, InterPore will underwrite a 10% discount for any students registered for the conference who are staying in either the New Orleans Downtown Marriott or the Renaissance New Orleans Arts.
To take advantage of this offer:
1. Reserve your room under the InterPore block at either of these hotels using this link.
2. Email your name, hotel location, and dates of your stay to Chris Skrivanos at nskriv2@lsu.edu.
3. InterPore will provide payment to the hotels for 10% of the room bill for students on this list.
Chris is also setting up a google drive spreadsheet to help you identify a roommate if you are looking for one. If so, send Chris your name, gender, contact info, and any particular accommodations you would need if sharing a room (if applicable).
