Following the success of the 1st InterPore 5K at this year’s meeting in Valencia, InterPore2020 LOC has organized the 2nd Annual InterPore 5K in Qingdao to be held in the evening on Wednesday September 2. All attendees of InterPore2020 will receive the official InterPore2020 T-shirt. Participants who enjoy running will have the chance to don theirs while jogging around Luxun Park, the main training route for many of Qingdao’s runners. Non-runners can simply wear their T-shirt while cheering on the runners and commenting on the outcome. The run will start at the Olympic Sailing Museum and will run west along the beach to the Xiaohaihua Children Square before heading north along Hong Kong West Road to the Shangri-La Hotel.
The InterPore 5K is not a competitive event, nor is it listed on any ranking; it is just another way to socialize among the participants of InterPore. Although formally part of the social activities of InterPore, the organization takes no responsibility, the run is at your own risk.
The route is as follows:
Walking about 800 meters from the Shangri-La Hotel to the west side of the May 4th Square, which is the starting point. Run along the coastal walkway, pass the Olympic Theme Park and Olympic Sailing Center Torch Terminal,after arriving at the front square of Qingdao International Convention Center, then return to the departure point.Water will be available at the end of the line.
The whole track is about 4.2km, and it will take about 45 minutes, the map is shown as follows.
